TUBOFIX is an adjustable fast compression fitting for plants built in steel pipes for water and gas. Its strengths:
Production: The Tubofix assumes the typical golden color of brass thanks to the process of normalization, ie distension of the raw material. This manufacturing process is synonymous with guarantee of reliability over time, against any risk of tension and cracking of the material.
Adherence: The conical gasket present in the fitting, allows the best adherence of the Tubofix to the iron pipe.
Endurance: The stainless steel ring ensures the best mechanical locking to tighten the iron pipe.
Material: Tubofix is 99.9% made from brass raw material. The massive presence of material makes it one of the heaviest products of the category, unmistakable characteristic of a higher level quality.
- It allows to repair and modify plants without need of threading
in place - It is available in three figures: Male, Female and Double
- Mechanical clamping of the pipe is assured by the
stainless steel tapered ring that clutches the steel
of the pipe - The fitting’s generous length makes installation
easy, allowing to make up for inaccurate and wrong
measurements or cuts
Materials and working conditions
- Body and locknut in OT58 UNI 5705/65 brass hot stamped
and stress relieved after machining - AISI 303 UNI 6901/71 stainless steel ring
- EPDM tapered seal
- Siliconic rubber o-ring type seal for gas
(available at request) - Working pressure 50 atm
- Working temperature from -20° C a +120° C
- UNI EN 10255 steel pipes
